We started with bricks and mortar stores to replace 18 year old up-lights under a veranda at the front entrance of our contemporary home. Even an upscale lighting vendor could not find much of a contemporary selection from their vendor catalogues.

That lead to the web search and Lighting Universe, who had a great selection and good values. I needed additional information because I needed to be certain this fixture, if custom painted would hold up to Minnesota's harsh climate. The service representative said she would check directly with the manufacturer and I was pleasantly surprised by her follow-through with added information for me.
